BOMFRUiT is the rebrand of Brendan O’Malley Ltd, a company originally founded by Paddy O’Malley in 1947. In 1985, Brendan O’Malley established the business at Mary’s Lane in the Dublin Fruit Market. For over seven decades, we have been supplying fresh, quality produce.

Darragh has grown up in the fruit and veg business. It was part of family life with both parents working in the business. Darragh committed to the family business in 2008 and worked alongside his dad Brendan growing the business over the course of the next ten years. Darragh stepped into the MD role when Brendan retired in 2018.
John’s career in produce started almost 40 years ago. His extensive knowledge of produce and seasonality is unmatched in any other company. John is very hard working but always good humoured making him a very easy person to work alongside.
Camila started working on our trading desk back in 2020. Her background was working as a political journalist in Brazil. Camila adapted quickly and has been a great addition to our team. She brings great energy to work every day. Our customers like dealing with her because she is good at her job.
Allan has worked in our fruit business for many years and has a good understanding of all areas of the business. With the development of our new health drinks business, he was the perfect candidate to take on the role of Operations Manager for this new business.
Dorota started working in the accounts department in October 2016. Dorota joined the business having worked in retail management for 12 years. When Dorota started with the company her original role was to assist the then head of accounts Helen O’Malley. Dorota made such a positive impression that Helen retired that Christmas.
